Postural Assesments with WWF Team

Pilates At Your Desk recently undertook a day of postural assessments with the team at WWF UK. There were 30 individuals who each signed up for a 10 minute 121 slot to look at how to improve posture, reduce aches and pains and move more at the desk.

The postural assessments were a great success with comments like:

“I can’t believe that you can tell what my feet are doing by looking at my head and shoulders”

“I have wondered for years how I could align my pelvis while I work so my hip pain would go and you have just told me in 10 minutes”.

An interesting find was that many of those had issues linked to turning only their heads (opposed to the whole body) to take video calls on a laptop positioned left to their monitor screens. So as well as giving individual feedback we will also be providing some tips to WWF to send out to the office as a whole.

We actually have a whole year of work planned together so we are hoping that by the end of it the team at WWF will have happy bodies and will be moving more while they work. Exciting times!
